Maria Ramundo

I'm Maria Ramundo, a clinical psychologist with a degree from the Universidad del Salvador in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

After graduating in 2016, I completed a specialized master's degree in child and adolescent psychology at the Ulloa Center, also in Buenos Aires. In 2019, I moved to France, a country that welcomed me and enabled me to pursue and enrich my vocation for psychology.

This cultural and professional transition has deeply nourished my practice and broadened my view of the human being. In my clinical practice, I adopt an integrative, person-centered approach, to create a safe, caring space conducive to emotional expression. Where appropriate, I use cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness and relaxation techniques to help my patients manage stress, anxiety and depression-related symptoms.

I'm also trained in EMDR, a neuropsychological approach with remarkable results, particularly in the treatment of trauma, significant negative experiences, phobias and certain emotional disorders. My curiosity and deep interest in the human condition have led me to embark on a rich and varied career path, working in a wide variety of fields including clinical work, child protection, parenting support and burn-out.

As a migrant myself, I'm particularly committed to supporting people who are grieving the loss of a migrant or going through a period of cultural adaptation. I offer support in Spanish and French, as required. My aim is to promote mental and emotional well-being, supporting each person in developing their resilience and improving their quality of life. I listen to you, we analyze and reflect together. Therapy is a space that we co-construct, at your pace, according to your needs.
