Élise Moreau – Dance Movement Therapist
Movement for mental health
I'm Élise Moreau, dance-movement therapist, graduate of the Institut de Psychologie de l'Université Paris Cité. I offer individual sessions for adults, teenagers and children, and a weekly group on Tuesdays from 5:30 to 6:30 pm for children aged 7 to 11. After several years' experience as a contemporary dancer and choreographer, I decided to train in Dance Movement Therapy and apply my knowledge to therapeutic support.
My career has brought me into contact with a variety of audiences: women at risk of social exclusion and/or victims of violence, teenagers with psychiatric disorders, children with disabilities, adults with personality disorders, people with multiple disabilities, and so on. In Barcelona, I worked with children and teenagers in “highly complex” schools. I currently work for the social services with women victims of domestic violence and with intellectually disabled teenagers in a local association.
I use the tools of dance, relaxation, self-massage, improvisation and play to accompany you. I work from a cross-cultural and gender perspective, with mental health at the center. I enjoy working with a variety of people to build together ways of managing your needs and subjectivities. I welcome you to a safe and caring environment, where you can progress at your own pace.
