Camille Roperch

State-certified psychomotrician; Individual support for children and adolescents

A state-qualified psychomotrician (IFP - Sorbonne, Paris), I enriched my career with a one-year master's degree in psychomotricity in Buenos Aires (UNTREF) and a master's degree in research at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, the latter enabling me to contribute to scientific publications in the discipline. I continue my training in psychomotricity (Bullinger sensory-motricity, sensory integration, NEPSY II, schemas, etc.).
I specialize in psychomotor therapy for children and adolescents (motor skills, Soubiran assessment, Makaton, etc.) as well as in body mediation (dance therapy, storytelling, therapeutic touch, clay, relaxation, etc.). I specialize in psychomotor therapy for children and adolescents.

My clinical practice revolves around the care of children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD), in day hospitals and community settings. I also work in emergency contexts, helping to integrate psychomotricity with people in difficult situations.
with the Mission Migrants of Samu Social. I'm now pursuing a research and writing project on psychomotricity, in which I examine corporality in the context of interculturality, trauma and psychomotor development.

The individual psychomotricity sessions I offer are designed for children and adolescents in need of therapeutic support that takes into account the whole person: body, mind and spirit,
the environment, the expression of a disorder or handicap, etc...

Psychomotricity support can be offered to assist the psychomotor development of children and adolescents, and in the specific cases of :
● autism spectrum disorders (ASD)
● attention difficulties, ADHD, agitation, behavioral problems,
● emotional difficulties, low self-esteem, inhibition
● coordination disorders, dyspraxia
● learning disabilities (DYS)
● graphic difficulties (writing)
● spatial and temporal identification disorders
● anxiety, sleep disorders, somatic symptoms (migraines, etc.)
● tics, stuttering, tone disorders

In my approach, I initiate the encounter with a psychomotor assessment, based on an interview (anamnesis) and observations (motor skills, tone, attention, spatio-temporal functions, body schema, etc.). Based on these exchanges with the child, we draw up a therapeutic project, adapting bodily mediations according to the needs identified.

In my work, I am committed to establishing a relationship of trust and providing support tailored to each family, while respecting each individual's time frame. I believe that support should enable the patient and family to find a space in which they can work out their own situation.
in a caring and supportive way, while at the same time proposing concrete adjustments to everyday life.
